As the draft nears and we get inundated with so much footage of these top guys in interviews all around ESPN and the like, I'm wondering just purely based on who you would want based on how they come off. I'm talking charisma, personality, likability etc. Who would you take if that was the only factor

    ~~

My personal take: Rosen obviously keeps on coming up as our potential pick which is awesome if you ask me. Would have never imagined when we were at 6th that we would have had a chance at him. I do like his laid back persona but he actually isn't the guy who I think is easiest to root for. Surprisingly I find Josh Allen to be really likable and obviously Baker Mayfield would be a ton of fun. Sam Darnold hasn't seemed all that charasmatic to me but maybe I haven't seen the right stuff. I'd rank them: Mayfield, Allen, Rosen, Darnold based on personality

Rosen. he's got the highest football IQ and the smartest overall in the draft as far as Qbs go. I'll take substance over style anyday. I understand the criticisms, it's not easy being smarter then everyone around you and often frustrating which is how rosen felt. A guy like bates will challenge him.

to put it in perspective, if you get a dog like a border collie which is really smart, you better be willing to keep it occupied so it doens't get bored. You can't blame the border collie for your negligence.

I'm curious to here responses to this. I feel NYC is a unique place to play. If you perform you'll be loved to no end. You throw that pick 6 and the fans will make pay for it over and over. I remember when Sanchez played well no problem. One mistake and it would snowball. In NYC you need thick skin and lots of moxie.

Get married based on personality only. Allen is my pick he seems the most laid back.

  5. I voted Rosen but I think all these guys have great intangibles which is part of what makes them high end prospects. They just all have their own personalities & it all comes down to preference. The unique thing is I think they all fit NY for different reasons..good news for us.

I like Rosen’s swagger, charisma,Football IQ & high standard for performance

    Rosen or Darnold.

Allen I think would be better off in a small market. Ditto for Mayfield. Him against the media the second he has a string of bad games would be awful.

    Josh Allen, without a doubt

10 times out of 10 for me. That guy's personality is exactly what you want in a leader and team player. His ability is what scares me

I do also think, Josh Rosen is the most suited for this market.

Manish "The RAT" Mehta will just bounce off Rosen...In fact, Rosen would put that tool in his place.

I voted Rosen. Don't get me wrong, I would love Baker's swagger here. Fans would eat him up. But I think Rosen is more level-headed.

If we are are on the clock and both kids are there for the taking, I don't think I'll be mad at either decision. I think the pick winds up being Rosen tho.

I think Mac likes Rosen alot. But he also likes Allen and Baker too...I dont know if they are crazy about Darnold. But I have no idea, this draft class is tough to predict

It has to be Rosen if it's between him and Mayfield.

    Rosen.

I like this lastest report about Jim Mora saying he questions everything and wants to know 'why'. That's good. I want my QB to understand the logic behind each play call and scheme to get the best understanding possible.

I don't view that report as a negative at all. Is he supposed to just "shut up and run the play"? That mentality is fucking garbage and I hope our coaches aren't like that.

Also Jim Mora is garbage too.

I like Baker as well, seems like a fiery guy.

Which part of this deals with his personality as the op asked ?

If he asked you too pick a player on intelligence then we have a winner :)

But Jimmy Fallon has such a bubbly personality. Can't help but like the guy. I agree I would go with Colbert too or Conan O'Brien

My heart wants baker or jackson....my head says Rosen. Years of experience as a jets fan says it will be josh allen.
