    I dont know if this question was asked but if you the bengals offered their 1st rd this year #9 and Chad Johnson for the Jets 1st pick, would you pull the trigger on this deal?

    No, as talented as Johnson is he's slowing down and has proven this offseason that he's nothing more than a whiney baby. I like our locker room and wouldn't screw with it by putting a me-first player in there.

    Bengals wouldent do that because the cap hit would be monstrous on them and theyre giving their top playmaker to move up 3 spots in the draft.........

    I agree, I think if we were ready this year..possibly pull that trigger at the trade and win that SB.....it could work...but seriously we are 1..2...3 at the most years away from that.

    Johnson = Distraction

    Not what the Jets are striving for....at least in my opinion.................

    We had this same scenario back when we had Keyshawn, which to my knowledge is his cousin, so why would we do this again? The johnsons are bitches who don't produce enough when it counts. They need to shut up and put up.

    I probably would. We might not be able to get anyone we need as much at 9, we'd probably go either with a corner or with Harvey, but Chad's a great player who plays hard, and he is exactly what we need in our offense. Clemens would HAVE to step up then.

    Why on earth would Cincinnati do that? They could get at least a 1st round pick for him alone from Dallas. Maybe both of them. Players like that don't make Dallas nervous. There is already talk they may sign Henry once they find out what his suspension is going to be. Johnson would be a dream compared to that.

    One columnist had a funny line this week. He said instead of "America's Team" they will soon be called "America's Most Wanted".

    Yeah, this is a completely ludicrous trade proposal. Tannenbaum would pull the trigger on this trade in a heartbeat. Then he'd either start the best receiving trio in the league, or trade Johnson immediately for value.

    I would do this in a second. Move back only 3 spots and pick up an elite receiver in the proecss? Not even a question.

    The character issues are overblown too.

    I think you're right on that. He is a total asshole and a royal pain in the ass but he isn't really a bad guy. He doesn't get arrested and all he wants to do is win.

    The question was "would you pull the trigger on this trade". Not if this a possible true life trade would the Jets accept this deal. With that being said....

    I would do it. Jets could still get a player that will contribute to the team, this year. And I dont care what Ocho Cinco does, at the end of the day if he goes out there and do what he is suppose to do for the team to win.

    All that character crap doesnt matter. How many ppl can deny that dispite how much they said Sapp had "issues" that the Jets had drafted him. But instead years later we got the DT that we spent 2 first rd picks on whos name I will not mention.

    I want a professionals not role models playing on my team.
