The draft coverage of the media is taking a backseat to all the Roethlisberger crap.

I wish the Commish waited to after the draft to make the announcement. Maybe the Rooneys pushed for the decision before the draft to make a possible trade.

If the Steelers trade Big Ben it will probably be when a Team (Raiders) is OTC.....so the Steelers don't lose leverage in drafting Clausen.

Thats my guess, because why would goodell want to take away from the draft, which he has tried so hard to put into freaking prime time?

I still don't think Pitt gets an offer they can take back to their fanbase and say "Hey look! we got the best offer we could for the sleazebag." So they are going to be stuck with him, and as a result this whole big ben thing will be essentially worthless today!

Rule.....It's just disappointing, I look forward to the draft all year and BiG Ben's penis is more important.

^ agreed....I could give 2 shits about Ben's problems......the draft itself should be in the spotlight.

Goodell hasn't done anything right since taking over the commissioner's post.

    +1

Or, at least, he should have made the decision/announcement immediately after the GA DA cleared Ben. I really couldn't care less about this "story"...

It'll stop, and soon. I guarantee the decision was made when it was not to take away from the draft, but to push it to the side once the draft started. Give it a few hours and my guess is the news machine switches gears.

...until Roethlisberger gets traded tomorrow or Saturday. Then the two points become one!
