I saw this kid play at Hofstra. He is agood WR big, catches the ball well and a good blocker. I would take a shot at him in the 6th or 7th.

no way he would've gotten the opportunity to be the instant no.2 like he is in New Orleans. He's made the most of his opportunity, playing with a great qb and beating single coverage b/c everyone is focused on there other weapons.

but if we did draft him McCareins would be an after thought and we'd have Coles/Cotch/Dwight/Colston.(although dwight is old thats prolly whod be playing)

Coles/Cotch/Colston wouldnt draw one complaint from me lol

But your right Duk, its mainly due to the fact the team hes on, so hes been able to be thrusted into the position to display his skills.

Gotta think Mangini would play him if he was worthy. The cream always rises, like a certain wayne chrebet. I believe he was one of the last players taken in the draft meaning the saints scout should be looking for a raise.

I wanna see what we have in Brad Smith....just a dangerous guy to have on the roster. That is a young guy who can make a huge contribution in the future.

If colston were on our roster he would be our no.4/no.5, its not everyday a team takes a chance on 7th round pick and trades away the other no.2 wr so he can start.

I'm pretty sure he is a TE for them which would make him a perfect fit for us.

A 230 lb TE? Don't we have enough problems running the ball as it is???

I spoke to my uncle about this. He goes to all the Hofstra games.

Colston was a major recruit for them who was somewhat disappointing. They thought he was going to be a superstar. He did very well, but I wouldn't have anticipated this kind of success. He's been so good that they dealt Stallworth with the confidence that they could replace him. That's saying something.

What that Stallworth was always an underachiever in New Orleans?

(granted it may have had something to do with his QB)

    P.S. I like Colston too.
