Rich Cimini @RichCimini Possible Doug Marrone-to-Bills impact on #Jets: UFA Brandon Moore a fan of Marrone; his first OL coach. I think Moore is clearly on the downside of his career but I'd still hate to see him play for another AFCE team just because.
Not me. Moore is done, sadly. Time to move on. Let the Jets D-line throw him into Fitzpatrick instead of others throwing him into our QB.
Yea I get that he's done and I want the Jets to move on. I just don't like seeing long time Jets finish their career on another AFCE team. Seeing Shaun Ellis on the Pats was annoying even though he was done as a player.
Agreed. Although Ellis got a pretty good contract with the Patriots (one thing is to turn down vet min, another is to turn down 2 mill $) it was weird to see him there. Thankfully he didn't do shit... just like Moore isn't going to do shit if he goes to the Bills... so it's all good.
Moore isn't good enough to start in Buffalo. He might come as a backup for depth, but that's his choice. About the only way I could see him starting would be if Levitre leaves in free agency.
If it's anything like Sean Ellis playing for the Patriots after he was done, I'll take it. Moore is at the end of his rope, and I don't see him coming back or being all that productive if he does play next year.
I think that is a good choice by the Bills but i wanted Nassib but that looks like its certain hell go to the bills
Marketing Ploy. Now that they secured Toronto (sarcasm) - Buffalo is trying to expand their brand east to Rochester, Syracuse... Hiring Syracuse's coach is a great way to gain enthusiasm in that market. Buffalo's new CEO is a business/marketing guy, not a football guy. He's also originally from Syracuse, a big Orange fan, and a season ticket holder. Was their ever any doubt they'd hire Marrone? Not to mention he probably came much cheaper than Chip Kelly, Lovie Smith, etc... It's win-win for the marketing man. Not saying he'll be a terrible coach, time will tell. I'm just simply saying he was hired for all the wrong reasons and that usually doesn't end well.
