Personally i think this guy's numbers don't lie, he reminds me a lot of Mr. Martin as far as running style is concerned, but I hope to see this him make the roster this season. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=120617
I have no idea why he went undrafted. He was projected as a 2nd rounder through much of last season. Could be a big steal.
Moore, IMO, was more of a 4th or 5th Rd pick. I really like DonTrell, he's a run between the tackles back and can break tackles. Moore had a few injuries that set him back........probably why a Team didn't draft him. Also, NM doesn't get much Pub., if this kid played in the Midwest or South, he would be a first day pick. Every year there are a handful of players that should have been drafted, that slip thru the cracks. Nice pick up by Tangini.
i agree its amazing how some guys how guys drop and people jsut miss the boat. look at mark brown he was a good lb for us and he went undrafted so did our oline man moore if im not mistaken
he deserve a real shot to make the roster. 2 years ago he was considerd a 1st rd pick. but he got hurt in a game that was live on espn. so between that injury and his speed concerns this is the only reason guy wasnt a 1st day pick. but you cant argue with his #s guy is productive.
lol hopefully blaylock is let go in training camp.. the guy really has no use here. washington can do everything he does at a cheaper price.
Dontrelle Moore is coming of a major knee injury, which could have lead to him being undrafted, but his scouting report makes him sound like a CMart type of runner... "more quick than fast"... however your thread title is a little off, its Leon Washington that is the pint-sized home run threat out of the backfield, like Willie Parker. The only similarity between Moore and Parker is the UDFA status.
tru but remember last year when we signed him?? everyone was praising this guy and now cuz of this years draft hes gonna get thrown under the bus... i guess this is how the depth chart would look right? C-Mart Houston Blaylock L. Washington D. Moore
i dont know about that. i would give back blaylock to kc in heart beat to get jordan back.i never was a big blaylock guy . i felt then and still feel now that he was a product of KC great Oline.
Moore was a Defensive Lineman in college. Not a very good one. He was not drafted since he was a complete unknown and a project on the Offensive Line. It was a good switch for him.
Sounds like Blaylock is going to have to compete to keep his job as the scat back since he won't be doing returns. He was overrated lasted year as an pick up.
No Kidding? Really? Did you infer from my comments that it was Dontrell Moore who played D Line in college and switched to O line? Please keep the obvious to yourself.
The reason that Moore wasn't drafted was because he a) had a bad knee injury in college b) ran a 4.6 40 at the combine It's not really fair, but shit happens. If he wants to be on an NFL roster he has to prove it.
