The Patriots haven't been beaten in 20 f'ing regular season games in a row...by anyone! Think about that...20 games in a row! this game doesn't mean shit right now.....just move on and keep improving....i expect we go 3-3 and then we dominate after week 6 we obviously have a great offense (that is learning eachother) and a great defense
not to piss on your parade, my friend....but, they had Tom Brady for the other 19 games....we blew a great opportunity to take advantage of an NWE team without Brady.....
Whatever, how can we lose a game and expect to have a good season? You should re-evaluate what this means to our chances to success this year - none.
you do mean 2-2 and then dominate after week 6 right? i'll keep the optimism inside until tomorrow... tonight and monday are days to be pissed.
We have a lot to improve on, NDmick. This game needs to be taken as a lesson to get the players better than they are. They have to respond to this slap down, pure and simple. Wringing their hands, and swearing at the gods, or the coaches, or the Pats, is not constructive, and doesn't do a damned bit of good. What lessons can be learned and built into the team will make them better against the Chargers next week. This is a marathon, not a 40 yard dash, or a three card draw for Fantasy Football.
but it was an opportunity missed and chances weren't taken. It was not being cavalier because the Jets had nothing to lose in this game- the Pats had more pressure on them to show that they can do it without Brady and they did. Its not giving the QB the ball to win when it matters. I hope that they take what you said into consideration. It better be a lesson for SD, because that team won't be happy on MNF, down 2-0 at home playing Favre and the Jets... they will be bloodthirsty. Its time to show what this team can do, because a beatdown next monday will hurt this team immensely. Thankfully the bye is week 5. It can give this time the 2nd half jolt it always gets early instead of late.
