concerning Tebow. It's a quote from Jared Allen in Michael Silver's GQ piece last year: If you haven't read the entire piece, I highly recommend it.
That describes the sentiment I had when Schotty was calling plays. "We don't need all this motion Schotty, we have a top 5 OL and QB who thrives off PA why are we motioning and going 5 wide on 3rd and 1!!!"
It's pretty funny seeing Brady Quinn's butthurt come out in almost every quote. I'm guessing he's not a fan
I saw that Skip Bayless referenced it on his twitter feed today, so I'm assuming it is something that Champ said very recently.
and i'm sure there are plenty of future hof'ers on the other side of the fence. probably a lot of current hof'ers as well. One guys opinion means nothing,
Why when someone says something good its others probably think different. Some people like the guy some don't, why spend the time tearing someone down, bud?
why spend the time scouring the internet for anything at all positive about a bad qb backing up a bad qb? Will it make him better? Will the haters somehow change their mind? will a coach somehow read the article and so OH WELL PLAYER X loves tebow maybe i should start him? same coin... different side.
Not really, some of these folks just enjoy watching one of their favorite players. Isn't that the point of football? To be entertained? To enjoy yourself? If it is one of your favorite players its not wrong at all. If it is someone you don't like them it becomes worrisome that you are spending so much time on it.
