Watching the Bears vs. Buccaneers Wirfs look bad with holding penalties sacks aloud & just being out of place at times. Becton is clearly the better player. On Draft day I had my doubts about picking Becton over Wirfs, but Becton's play has left no doubt we picked the better player.
To be fair Mack is a top flight pass rusher lol. Also Mack ain't doing that to mt becton. Thomas isn't doing too good with the Giants as well.
I think Wirfs had been playing decent until last night. They also blast open some holes for that running game. Not entirely sure why that offense decided not to chip or help on Khalil Mack...
After the sack on Brady Mack picks up Wirfs and body slams him....too funny. You can see it in the video above. Not on replay, but on the initial shot.
Wirfs will be OK but hes not the most natural knee bender which means he’ll always have his hands full w powerful leverage based Rushers & will never be able to kick inside. I was adamant that Becton was the best OT in this past class & have seen nothing thus far to disprove that sentiment
Joe Douglas is the man. I firmly believe that once he finds his coach we will be perennial play off team.
If only we could have slammed Brady into the turf as many times I still have the memory of us letting him limp to a first down unmolested 3 or 4 seasons ago, fucking shocking.
Tampa/Bears recap game one NFL channel. Noticed 3 things: Todd Bowles is DC of Brady's Bucs team. Buster Screen running wild for the Bears....seems to be everywhere. Bears RB (Montgomery?) seems to be in on all 60 offensive snaps. He breaks a nice run, stays on the field. Our guys? They seem to jog to the sidelines after EVERY play.
The main concern with Becton is whether a guy that big can stay healthy over the course of his career. We will see...
the "can't miss" Andrew thomas has been iffy for the giants. wirfs hasn't been great either. becton is clearly the best of the class so far.

Mann- 4 Games I’m not spouting doom and gloom, it’s been 4 games in a weird season. But if that’s not about the most inconclusive set of stats you’ve ever seen...
