Although the Falcons FO said they wouldn't part with Schaub, I'm hearing rumbles that they might give him up considering they desperately need a DE since the release of Brady Smith. All other front-liner DE have been signed and I find hard they will replace Smith with rookie/s. Denver only has 4.7 cap room left and that's including the money to sign drafts picks. Although, we might be able to get a number 1 pick from them, they'd still have to sign Abraham. Also, Abraham wwould be very close to his hometown of South Carolina. It will be interesting. The Falcons have not signed anyone.

Meanwhile, the Broncos need to sign a RB and they are meeting with J.Lewis today.

    Shut your mouth!

Abe will end up with the Bengals or Browns.

Whatever it is you have with the birds down south is your problem. We just want the most for our player. BTW If your team is so superior, then why would you care if Abraham goes to the Falcons?

They've always said how stupid the FO is down thter and I'm starting to agree. Why not trade trade the guy as he will be a RFA next year. If he's not going to play, then he will probably ask to be traded and they will get nothing.

Another reason behind this trade and its possibilty of getting done is the simple fact that why would we trade our star player to a inner-conference rival.

So, don't count trade out yet, Folks. They need a DE and while I think they might be a little rattle up-stairs, they will not start more rookies on their line like they did last year.

we'd at least have to get a 2nd rd or 3rd rounder with shcaub for this to be even near worthwhile for us.

    abraham=pro bowler
schaub=potential........thats it. i think he could qb a team but that is yet to be proven.

Is your cousin retarded? He started ONE game!

I don't want to trade Abraham to ATL unless it is for their #1 pick...or their second and 3rd...

look ,I don't care who Abraham goes to just as long as we get something in return. The problem is that the Broncos nor Redskins have the salary cap room to sign him. Would could easily get 1 st round from Denver but they only have 4.7 mil in cap space. Abraham will demand big dollars. The Broncos to sign a vet RB and still need money to sign draft picks.

Ha. Well then he isn't going anywhere. Some of you seriously over value Abe. If you got Schuab for Abe you'd be getting a steal.

I would love the Abe for Schuab and a 2nd rounder, that would be a steal for the Jets. I know many of us think Abe is worth a top 10 pick but the truth is he isn't.

I really think Atlanta is playing harball with Schuab , they don't want another Brett Favre situation on their hands so they are going to make sure they get a great deal for Schuab. Yes there is alot of potential in Schuab but I felt he was better than Phil Rivers coming out of college but this is just one mans opinion.

I like schaub a lot, he could be our starter for a long time. Then we could concentrate on line in the draft. An extra mid-round pick along with him would be ideal.

your smoking rock.........a pro bowl pass rusher, STRAIGHT UP for a 2 yr backup? AND WE'D BE THE ONE GETTING THE BETTER DEAL????

i think schaub can start in the league, but thats exactly all it is right now is a THOUGHT! we dont know what he can do if handed the reins, while with Abraham, hes had injuries in the past but whenever he's on the field you know the QB will be getting tagged.

seriously i know we have good weed in florida but dont drink the bongwater

    :) just messin with you

Schaub is free agent next year someone is going to give him more money then Atlanta is going to be willing to give a backup QB.

Similar to the Chargers situation it wouldnt be a totally insane decision to address there need at DE with Abraham now rather than see him walk later.
