With all the problems this kid has had and the negative analysis of his legs going dead on contact, i wouldn't be suprised if he fell to #9. He is not the next Adrian Peterson, which is why he could fall farther. I believe when we get closer to April this may show up in some mock drafs. I've seen one where he falls to #13 Carolina.

It may be another one of those Brady Quinn draft days for McFadden. My guess is that IF the Cowboys are interested, they will wait until someone actually drafts him to try to trade for him. I'd rather have Mendenhall or Stewart, but that may be more of a reflection of what style of RB I like. Maybe the draftnicks are picking up on NFL teams' general FO sentiment.

Looks like Atlanta won't be drafting him since they just signed Michael Turner.

i doubt the jets pass up mcfadden considering they just signed calvin pace. If they get McFadden, oh boy! what an offseason! and now he has an O-line to run behind

He won't fall past the Pats. They'll either take him or trade the pick.

That's assuming we don't scoop him up first..

You don't watch very many razorback games then. Most of Darren McFaddens big yard runs started through the middle. And for anybody who doesn't think he's very physical. His first run in the Sugar Bowl should silence you.

I hope we do take him and rid Jones. I'm not a Jones fan and to me he just doesn't look happy. I think DMAC is a very dynamic runner and power and strength. He is very much an Adrian Peterson.

Im not a big Thomas Jones fan either he is a great running back but he doesnt seem to fit the jets offense specially since we thrive off of screens... to me this season thomas jones didnt have the cut back ability we need he just doesnt see the hole some times. he is a straight ahead runner made for teams like green bay or chicago teams that play smash mouth.... but if we did get mcfadden it would hurt us!!!

Thomas Jones would be the power back with moderate speed, Leon would be the scat back/change of pace third down back.. and mcfadden would just be the game breaker homerun hitter!!

thomas jones got 1100 yards last year running behind 3 lineman- he gets 1400 yards this year with our new line. Jones is the LAST of our problems...

Since we have an early 2nd pick, we can still get a pass rusher with that pick. I'd love to have McFadden. And you don't really need to get rid of Jones to do it. Washington can be our Darren Sproles.

If you have watched Razorback games, then you should know that a buttload of his yards have come from him lining up at QB and that he fumbles just from the sheer force of his own jukes, without getting touched at all. The halfback is supposed to have the best hands on a team. You want a faster Brad Smith with the sixth overall pick?

Haha! He might throw the ball! He might throw the ball! No. He won't. Not in the NFL. His backup, Felix Jones, didn't need bullshit tricks at the college level and was able to achieve the same YPC if I remember correctly. It didn't hurt that they had a high-quality FB like Peyton Hillis leading the way for them. Or a solid offensive line.

    I don't get the hype. I just don't.

Edit - Nice avatar, Cotch Jerricho. Heheh. Who driving?! Oh! Bear driving! American party! Oh so fun!

Jones should have a much better year this year, and Leon is a good backup. but its hard to pass on a guy like mcfadden. jones is 30 and leon is never gonna be a starter.
