Well the dominos have now fallen, it's official as the Colorado Buffalos are now the 11th team to join the Pac 10. http://www.pac-10.org/genrel/061010aaa.html
TMZ saying Oklahoma State has joined the Pac 10.... http://www.tmz.com/2010/06/10/oklahoma-state-pacific-10-ncaa-conferences-football-big-12/
Which probably means Oklahoma is going to bolt, followed by Texas, A&M, and Tech. It'll be interesting to see what happens to Kansas and K-State. As a biased Villanova student, assuming my dream scenario of a move up to FBS and into the ACC is just that and is out of the question for 'Nova, I'm hoping that Rutgers and Pitt are the schools plucked by the Big Ten and the Big East works out a deal with the two Kansas schools.
The issue is I think the BE stands to lose more then just Rutgers and Pitt, I read that Mizzou has stated they were not invited to the Big 10 so that would mean that the Big 10 has eyes on more then just those two BE schools. I think we'll see Cuse, RU and Pitt go as well as Uconn that would give the Big 10 16 to match the Pac XI. I still think Kansas and Kstate are going to end up in the MWC with Boise when it's all said and done.
