Yeah I didn't see much of a pennington "man-crush" in that article, either. Although, I have recently been doing some Dolphin-fan messageboard spying and I have been shocked by the level of pennington ass-kissing from the same people who bashed him to no end when he was a Jet and helping our team kick their teams ass. (16 out of the last 20 times, no less)
11 on 11 redzone: H (Henne at QB) - TD!!! Perfectly thrown pass to Ginn. He was coming across the middle, and Chad put the pass right on the money / in stride. Couldn't have thrown a nicer pass in that situation.... me here....on a description of a Henne pass play, 'blitzkrieg' gives credit to 'Chad' for the nice throw. yes, i know both qb's are 'chad', but it just read funny. man love?
Is there a reason why the training camp report for another team which speaks of a former player is the Jets forum?
I'm kinda with you on this one; I don't really need to see it. I wish Chad well when he is not playing us and multiple interceptions when he does. Beyond that, I am ready for Jets football.
well I must say, that is the most detailed report that I have ever seen on a TC, Cleary that dude needs to convert to a Jets fan so he can write us reports that can't get to TC my god. Not to say our reports arent great, but that is on a whole nother level....
It clearly isn't a mancrush. He is playing against John Beck and Chad Henne, essentially two rookies...I would hope the veteran would get the best of them! Chad has always been a good practice player as well. I think some of us here at TGG are enjoying a mancrush on Jet Favre..
No offense, but perhaps if you don't like the reports on here, if they are not good enough, then go to TC yourself and write us a report. I would read it. I enjoy the reports on here.
This thread is great for one reason: I went to Finheaven. :lol: Good grief, that is the funniest website I have ever been on. Everyone needs to read the boards! The fans are delusional. :lol: There is a thread about Ricky Williams winning the rushing title, Pennington being a great qb, Dolphins being the most underrated team that will go to the playoffs, multiple Pennington is better than Favre threads, a thread about Chad being the starter there for another 4-7 years, etc.. :lol: Good stuff. Cut the guy a break. He didn't say anything bad about this board and that was a detailed report. Why does everything Jets have to be better than anything else? geesh.
I wouldn't be so quick to write off Ricky Williams. There is no doubt that when he is motivated he is much more talented than any running back in the division and its not even close. If Ricky can come back storng with Ronnie Brown filling in the Dolphins could have a nice running attack. That makes Chad effective.
I will never understand Jet fans obsessions w/ former QB's. I'm just finally getting to enjoy the fact that I no longer see Vinny lovefest threads and now I have to listen to Chad- love for the next 50 years? God...let it go.
Actually, nothing I've ever seen on here compares to the Favre love-in and the guy hasn't played on down for the Jets yet. :wink:
That goes both ways Long Time. He hasn't played a down and the hate toward him by some is off the charts.
This is just what I have been thinking about, Winstonbiggs. Parcells has spent a lot of time on Ricky Williams, they've been saying. Ronnie Brown has actually been practicing in pads, too. I note they have been active on the waiver wire as usually is the case with Parcells, as well.
