I ask because in New England, the Pats will be playing at the same time and will therefore be on CBS. If it's flexed, I get to watch. So I hope NBC makes Jets-Titans the Sunday night game, and since the Titans are undefeated and the Jets are improbably in the hunt for a bye week now (ostensibly...I'm not overlooking the division race or anything), it may be the marquis game of the whole season, not just the week.

I heard it's protected and cannot be flexed.

Can CBS and Fox each protect a game each week? That means NBC likely gets the 3rd best game of the week.

Best part about this game......we have 10 days to prepare for it. Coaching staff should be on the board early tommorow morning. Lets get this game done and shut up everyone that doubts us.

I expect us to lose, at least that is my official stance.

Unofficially, we can win because we can stop the run, without selling out like the Ravens did. The Titans D hasn't been as good lately, if we call a good game we can beat them. Of course...that's expecting a lot from this CS. The players we have are good enough to win...maybe we can borrow BB or something.

i might be totally wrong, but i remember hearing or reading something like they alternate who gets to protect a game. so one week fox can protect a game and all of the cbs games are up for grabs and vice versa. again that may be totally wrong but i remember hearing something like that.

    Pretty sure you're completely wrong.

Either way, the Jets game is def blocked for this week.

yeah i thought that might be the case, probably didnt even hear it and just trying to think of what rules they had for those things and made some up.

edit-yup totally wrong. both networks get to block one game a week except week 17

Good point. Lets cheer for Jacksonville to win, then we can win, and be 1 game out of homefield. That is a better plan.

I see no reason why we can't go in and beat the Titans. Stop their running game and you cut the head off the beast. Yes, I know the won like that on Sunday but we score more points.

I like my chances with Kerry Collins throwing the ball around to some no name recievers. Kerry does have a tendancy to fumble the ball some. I'm not dissing the guy but he has a past.

Our O-line can do an adequate job.

    Who's on board?

I think we'll be in the game wire to wire...but Tennessee has a legit beastly defense. This isn't like the Pats....
