Seems to me that some posters don't really watch the games anymore. There is still talk of Sowell, Justin Miller, and other players that is just pure BS that is being recycled. Things that were posted last year or the year before are STILL being perpetuated by some as if those players are exactly the same! OPEN YOUR EYES !!!! -Sowell is gone and B.J. Askew has been Solid @ FB. If anyone has seen the pre-season games, Why no one mentions some of the solid lead blocks or his grabs out of the backfield. This is What he brings but was never given a chance because of Herms Vet-love. -Miller has been much better Hanging on to the ball in KR and has done a Better than avg. job @ his position. Yet, some are still holding on to his drops from 1 game his rookie season! BTW, if he is playing 5-7 yds off the man @ the LOS, Hello! That's the call from the sidelines. Not his decision! -Dressen. I don't understand the infatuation with a guy who couldn't even crack a Lineup even AFTER Baker got hurt last year, Jolley traded this year and he STILL got cut. Just makes me wonder if some actually watch the games or just read someone elses BS and run around re-posting it...... Sunday's is for the JETS. Nothing else. If your Sundays are taken up doing other shit, don't even bother posting.
God forbid someone posts an opinion anymore. It's post like yours that start trouble. Funny part is that it's not condescending. It's a perception of what I see and read around here. The only ones that may be offended are those that feel it may be about them. I guess we know what you do with your Sundays.
Your post really was condescending, but hey, that is probably going to be the opinion of the majority that read it. We could probably start a poll if you like. :breakdance:
I'm not talking of your on-field observations and you know it, it's the way you present your ideas... but go ahead and play your little and loud denial game and be laughed at for it, it really makes no matter to me. Just don't go whining like usual after the first 10 negative responses.
Well I didn't mean it to be. But since a few of you already think of it as condescending it was NOT meant to be. It was an opinion and a perception of what I read. The fact that people are talking more about the way I said it and not what I said is a little disturbing in itself. It has gotten way too sensitive around here..
I live in Indianapolis now, but I have my ways around missing the games. I listen to the games on NFL Field Pass online, and use the NFL.com Gamecenter to keep up, and then my family in NY sends me the tapes of the games, so I watch them like 3 days after they happen. It works out okay...
I watch the Jets when ever they are on. Well, season games I watch, I only got to watch one pre-season game this season (Fridays game lol)
I really don't have a problem with you, but it's post like this that I can see why others might. Whether it was intended or not, your first post sounded condescending. Instead of just simply apologizing and saying you didn't mean it to be that way, you tacked along another blurb simply meant to get a negative reaction. It's obvious you like to argue for the sake of arguing and like to pit yourself against the majority. And all that is totally fine. The only disturbing thing is when you go into your denial defense mode, in which you come off looking like a looney.
Point taken. And thank you for actually giving a thorough explanation of WHY. I totally respect that. *BLURB ALERT* Why should someone apologize if they didn't do anything wrong? or 1 step, Why should one apologize for the way someone else interprets the way something was said?
Thats what alot of us overseas do except not be able to see the game at all. Thank god for streamTv:breakdance:
Well nowadays some posters don't watch Jets losses. This might explain why they think Sowell is still on this team. He only saw 4 games last year. :rofl2:
Well, I'm an out of towner now but I still watch every game...at least twice! streamtvnow.com let's me watch the game live, and while it gets a bit grainy I download the torrent that David posts and watch it later. Internet is a godsend! Or I just watch it at my bar.
I watch it on Gamecenter too, but it doesn't tell you much about how people are actually performing. Whether it was a dropped catch or bad throw, etc. And I surely don't have time to watch re-runs. When I get a nice job I will probably get Sunday Ticket but until then I will just pray for a prime time game.
