Since the guys calling the game said that Bowles isn't interested in building for 2017, I'd imagine that Bowles will trot Fitzpatrick out there again next week. Hopefully he's not interested in building for 2017 because he'll be elsewhere contributing to the demise of some other franchise.

Hell yes. If the shit show he's put up the previous 9 games wasn't enough to bench him, today was basically a Pro-Bowl performance for Fitz...
Bowles will decide to start Fitz. Whether or not someone steps in and prevents that is another question.

I'm not one to call for anyone's firing but if they march Fitzoid out there next week, someone needs to be canned. That would be an incredible act of malfeasance on the part of the Jets staff and ownership.
The real question should be why wouldn't he? Fitzpatrick played pretty good today, outside of the turnover at the end, this us a business woody wants to make money, Fitzpatrick us probably the best option for that to happen, and I can't stand Fitz, I do however want to see Hackenberg play the season finale.

Why do you think there were so many empty seats today? Jet Fans are done with Fitz and with good reason. Woody wants to make money? he's gonna need fans in the ballpark buying concessions. Trotting out Fitz one more time at home amounts to a gigantic fuck you to the fans. Bowles already has stated he doesn't really care what the fans think. I guess he won't mind playing on Monday nite in front of nobody as we fans don't really care what Bowles thinks too. Playing Fitz next monday night will ignite yet another Fan revolt just like 2014. Maybe not to the extent of planes and banners, but a true revolt in the form of a boycott. The stadium today was pretty damn quiet. Next monday night, with Fitz starting the place will sound more like a library.
