I know it was only 1 game against average/below average competition, but Lowery looks like he can step in and play well as CB#2. Lowery is a rookie 4th rounder, who I expected to be a good backup and maybe one day would start, but he looked like he had played a full seasons out there. Assuming he plays well throughout the season, do we say goodbye to Miller? I believe this is the last year on his contract, and I was wondering if we should keep him around for depth, Kick returns, and maybe as a starter if he ever reaches his potenial. As a Jet fan, I have a feeling that if we keep him, he will be the same old Miller and never get much better. However, if we get rid of him at the end of the season, I fear that he will become an excellent player elsewhere and come back and return kicks/intercept passes against us.

Miller is just not a starter.

If the guy wants to hang around and be a KR & dime CB for the vet minimum, sure. Otherwise, goodbye.

We seem to have lots of KRs now, so Miller is just wasting a roster spot at this point.
