Simple question. We'd probably get him for veteran's minimum and he didn't look too bad last night. God knows our wr corps need some extra talent. Should we turn back our clock 3 years and re-sign Edwards? Holmes, Edwards, Kerley, Hill and company. In my opinion, it doesn't seem like the worst wr corps in the world.
He has two more weeks to audition. If he can show that he can run good routes, create separation, block well, and work hard, then i'd say yes.
That's a good point; we did bring him in because of his relationship with Sanchez but Edwards, hopefully, will still be good without the "beast" of a Qb that was once our starter.
If he wants to work with his boyfriend next year then it will be at the In-N-Out Burger in Mission Viejo. I think the Jets might pay a bit better.
Well he's better than what we've got. Assuming everyone is healthy we could have a receiving corps of Holmes, Hill, Edwards, Kerley and who knows who else. That's a lot better than what we've had for most of this season: Kerley, Gilyard, J Hill, Gates, Cro at times, Tebow at times, etc. Still hardly all word but an improvement.
The way teams have been cutting Braylon, I'm sure he'd be happy to have a job anywhere. If he is healthy and comes cheap, I'd certainly give him a chance to make the roster.
Braylon looked pretty good Monday night. If he can keep playing like that then how about something close to vet minimum & 2-years (with only 1 guaranteed)? Throw in some incentives also.
If more priority were given to decisions like these than maybe we wouldn't have to find a new qb right now. How this organization treated Sanchez's development is despicable, though Sanchez still deserves most of the blame.
