Can anyone explain why posters are creating polls that don't close till after the games are played?

 

I don't think you can put an exact time on when they close, but I could be wrong. I think you can only specify how many days the poll will run for which is impossible (if my assumption is correct) if you're creating the poll the same day as the games.

 

That must be it. I created a poll here one time, I think, but I don't remember about the time issue.

We'll need to start the CG polls on Wednesday or something.

 

i picked the packers game after it was done but i was just relaying what i had originally put down with my friends. the other 3 i put in before the games started. so you can go fuck yourself along with cakes whos probably the biggest fuckin douche on this board screaming about how he hated tom glavine all along. go fuck each other. ban me.

To me, this reads as if you think I only started dumping on Glavine after the 1/3 performance. That would be incorrect. I have been dumping on Glavine since I joined this site.


I wrote in one of these prediction threads that people picking games after they have been played is not really a bad thing, it's just silly. After all, there is no money involved here. Nobody is losing sleep over the fact people are making picks after games have been concluded.

 

I voted now. I'm 2/4. Because those were my actual picks. I thought I already put them in this thread, maybe it was another thread, I dunno. 100% right on NFC, 100% wrong on AFC.
