Sorry if in advance if anyone posted this. Although it was a low hit, Vilma should stop whinning! I am huge U fan but come on Vilma quit being a baby. I can tell you 9 out of 10 times you see the quarterback trying to tackle a guy returning an INT, the defenders are going to try to lay him out. They are going to hit him hard. Can't blame the guy from at least hitting someone before he gets destroyed, so i'm ok with it. He wasn't trying to take him out of the game. What about everyone else here?
He was just frustrated after his pick and did something stupid, probably thought there was a small chance of tripping them both up.
He did it twice already on pick 6's. Hope he gets fined so he learns not to do that shit again. I don't even know why he does it to begin with.
It was a dirty hit, not the first time, money needs to come out of his pocket so he stops doing it. Otherwise, defensive linemen will be going for his knees. Better that he learns sooner than later.
Sanchez needs to stop doing that. I believe he did the same thing earlier this year, either the first game against Texans or maybe it was in preseason against the Ravens. When you are out in the open field and some linebacker is about to steam roll you the tendency is to hit low. I seriously doubt that it had anything to do with being upset about the interception. I'm sure he was upset about the INT but the low hit appeared just to keep from being pancaked by Vilma.
It was a bad hit, a bad idea, and he needs to be fined, to learn that he cannot do that. However, the first one against the Texans, he was trying to dive at the ball carrier, and took out a guy in the process running along with the ball carrier. That's why he wasn't fined for the first hit.
dirty is dirty, but he's our dirty and that makes him special. I'm not sure if he was hungry or something late in the 4th qtr because he was eatin some shit of his nails.
I can't remember if Vilma was behind Sharper or next to him. That in mind he might of thought the same thing. He should of not went really low but i don't give him an edge if he tried to body tackle any defender
Vilma was not along side Sharper... he was 10 yards behind, and Sharper was gone... It was a dirty play. Just saying that the first one was an attempt to get to the ball carrier where he dove along the sideline. It was a cheap shot at Vilma, a dumb play. He needs to not throw pick 6's and we won't have to worry about it..
The first time he did it, I thought it was mistake on his part and that hopefully, the coaching staff ::ahem::Schotty::ahem:: would've told him NOT to do that again. But seeing how this is the 2nd time, this is just Sanchez being dumb. Hope the CS finally addresses this during film study this week.
God forbid you voice your opinion on a message board, what's wrong with you? I think we got a young brett favre except the stronger arm, big head and pain killer addiction
I think he just had a mental fart in the midst of throwing a big into. Would have sucked if he really did hurt Vilma though, he might have been facing a suspension
Yeah, and I'm wearing the same shirt as you, except mine's red, made of polyester, and has buttons down the front.
Cheap shot, but even worse he could have gotten hurt also...never forget Joe Willie chasing Paul Numoff and breaking his wrist in preseason and out for the year...
I would think his defense team members would tell him to not do that. Maybe Pete Caroll taught him that
