Did Wayne announce

    retirement???? i know at the end of the season he mentioned to a reporter that he was going to retire. i would have thought he would have held a press conference.

    also does anyone know if they will honor him at a game this year???

    im sure he will be honored if lewis and jones were. maybe not this yr.

    He will be honored but i dont think he announced his retirement yet.

    yeah it was announed weeks ago wanye is long gone.

    He retired already, and will probably be honored in a game this year.

    I think he announced it before the last game. I am pretty sure there will be a Wayne Chrebet day at the Meadowlands. I hope it's this year, but you never know.

    I thought he announced it but it won't be official until 6/1. He is still on the roster as a Jet and a main reason is the salary cap hit. After 6/1 the hit would be substantially less.
