Wrestling is fake. He probably did zero stunts, maybe fake punched a dude or some shit. This is a pro football talk article. I expect it to be complete shit and it is.
Even if he violated his contract, it's only an issue if the team makes it an issue. Example: If they were looking for a way to get rid of him. Which is doubtful.
The Jets could give 2 shits, they probably are happy about it because it makes the Jets even bigger, it spreads their name which means more money.
Has everyone dismissed the notion that the Jets had full knowledge of everything he was going to do on the show? I'll bet money he had permission to do this.
Even if not, this is a case of there being absolutely nothing going on in the NFL so PFT had to manufacture SOMETHING to get views on their site. What better way than to publish some nonsense about the Jets?
Depends on what the contact is. There is contact in wrestling. You can't throw a guy on a mat without there being contact. There are even injuries in wrestling. It's not an issue unless the Jets make it one, but I can't get on PFT for this one. If this were during the season, it would be even less of a non-issue.
He probably stomps a bitch out, maybe does a slam of some type. He didn't get hurt because it is pre taped and we would know about it already if he did so this is stupid.
As for Scott's appearance, he didn't do any wrestling and simply acted as a "bodyguard" for Hulk Hogan, according to his agent, Harold Lewis. In other words, he was just there for show, fulfilling a boyhood dream. "He was not wrestling!" Lewis wrote in an e-mail to ESPNNewYork.com. "He was only the bodyguard for some small, helpless guy named Hulk Hogan. It was nothing more than an appearance." http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/jets/post/_/id/4712/does-bart-scott-get-physical-in-wrestling-ring
This is only an issue if the Jets were eager to get rid of Bart. Jets organization will probably have a talk w/ Scott just to ensure he's careful & minimize injuries risks & then demand front row seats so they can throw beer & peanuts on opposing wrestlers as Bart Scott does fake atomic elbow drops on his enemies.
