All I have heard is that he looks fine as the NT...Mangini praised the job he is doing, and he looks to have hit the weights hard this offseason....whether or no he holds up for the whole season will be the key

No news that I heard, but he has been playing so it's a good thing....I hope he can get the job done, i'm still skeptical i admit, but he's doing well so far...

That's great news, I'm sure having Kemo right next to him is taking some pressure off him.

He has degenerate knee condition that gets worse the more he is played. I have the same condition & the solution according to my sports MD is TLC not playing FB

I talked to him. He looked good in practice and seemed to be fine afterward.

Hopefully he will have a solid year.

Apparently that problem is going to be nagging for the rest of his life because as it was described last season, he has had surgery on it once or more and the result of the surgery is damaged cartilage in the joint. So, because there is less padding/insulation between the bones, repeated force can cause the bones to touch and the cartilage that is there to get infmlamed, causing pain. I don't know if he wears a brace on it knows but I bet he will eventually. I remember hearing someone talk about it on NFL network last offseason, I think it might have been TD, and he said a ton of players play through that same problem.

I'd like to wait until we have seen him play one snap in a pre-season game before I use the word "fine"

By playing he will aggravate his condition & he will become less & less effective as each minute of the game goes by

It is called degenerate arthritis bone rubbing on bone & there is no way to fix the condition either. The more you aggravate it the more it hurts & swells up

"whatever". I would like to see how his knee holds up against any kind of opposition before i make judgement, and you are saying he is "just fine" because he LOOKS good. Which one of us is jumping to conclusions?
