if dre moore falls to the #36 pick he needs to be looked at, his athleticism is impressive for his size.
QFT. Moore is a freak and has the potential to be an elite 3-4 D-linemen. The thing for him will be interviews, because physically he can do whatever he wants.
I wouldn't put it past him... he looks and moves like him... Scouts have to know this - which makes me think he may go in the late 1st rnd.
I am interested in Kendall Langford DE from Hampton. I think he might be a good second day pick for us. He has an impressive combination of size and athleticism. He has the size to play inside at tackle, or on the end in the 3-4. He can hold his ground at the point of attack, but also shows the quickness and burst off the line to get into the backfield. His career numbers of 56 tackles for loss and 24.5 sacks speak to his playmaking ability.
I like him as well, i said a month ago that he is the 2nd day sleeper from Hampton. Langford is what you look for in a 3-4 DE. Our 1st pic i the 4th round is when i want to get him.
I think Okam is a guy who should get consideration if he is there in the 4th. He has the height, bulk and athleticism to be a 3-4 end. An Eric Mangini TC might be what the kid needs to spark his work ethic.
Agreed. He, Moore, Balmer, and Rubin are my favorite 3-4 DL prospects by far. I'm still not a Red Bryant or Frank Okam fan though... Another guy that can be interesting as a developmental prospect is Jason Jones.
I think his teammate from Hampton is a interesting possible 7th round target as well. Marcus Dixon was originally supposed to go to Vandy but got into trouble for having sex with a 15 yr old girl when he was 18. Sufficed to say nothing came off it in the end. He might be interesting as well super scholar from what I read on him. (found about him while reading up on Langford) tryed to a post link about his scout report but Im still to much a newbie
Dixon reminds me alot of Coleman. He seems like he'll be solid at worst in a rotation, but I would like to draft a potential long term starter.
I totally agree I think Langford has that potential and I think Dixon at best is a backup with a like 2% chance of shocking the world and being a starter. Just throwing names out there was my intention I love the later rounds much more then the first 3. Thats where you find potential game changers for a team. If I could have any career Id love to be a football scout.
i hope they start to build the line with bigger ends..even with jenkins the line is still pretty small..
I still see Bryant as an End. I wouldn't trust the guy as much at nose. Rubin is the only decent nose prospect I see in this draft.
Okam weighed in at 347lbs at the combine. Bryant was down to 313. Okam has great talent but has motor issues. Bryant has been overrated his whole time in College Station. Never did anything.
