10 years of owning the city for Yankee fans. Mets fans need to relish these moments.

    Under .500!

Because Gawker is one of the biggest Mets blogs on the internet.

Wait, what's that? Not a Mets blog? Not even a sports blog? Just someone posting a relevant issue from Gawker? Oh.

I'm sure he meant "relevent" as in relevant to the subject matter of the Gawker.

And i completely understand that. Good for you. We know the hatred comes from jealousy and your statement pretty much admits that.
    Well below .500,that is.

ps if you don't win in Oct,it still means shit.

Mets fans are feeling their oats these days and I can understand that but here is what they should really be thinking about. The Yankees have won 9 or 10 straight division titles (I forget) and have had the best record in baseball in almost all of those years. Yet they haven't won a WS in 6 years and haven't even been in one in 3. So really, having a great regular season record is meaningless. Just ask Seattle.

Don't worry about us winning in October.

Worry about your team making it to October.

*lets wait for the 26 to 2 talk to start*

My friend is a doorman at the W Union Square... Yankees (especially Jeter and Arod) hang out there all the time. One of them (not sure if it's Alex or Jeter's) has thier charity organization based right next door.
