Tonight marks the 4th game in a row where the other team has played backup offensive lineman and our defensive front has not lived up to their end of the bargain. KC was missing 2 starting guards. Seattle was missing a starting guard. Pittsburgh was missing both starting tackles. Cardinals are missing both starting guards. Zero pressure in all 4 games. Our D-Line let David Johnson walk in the endzone not once, but twice. The defense looks as lost as Bowles.
Why try when you can't score, that broke record played out years ago. Keep neglecting the offense in the draft McSucknan. Bowles you need to fire the OC and DC like yesterday. But, you won't rock the fraternity boat.,,,,,
How is it coaching that they can't beat their guy one on one though? They aren't always getting double teamed. I think these guys are either A-overrated (Richardson) or B-tanking (Wilkerson)
I say scheme these are good players but the scheme is asking them to do things they are not comfortable doing. Never mnd they are getting beat up all day and getting gassed because the offense can't do crap....
The apologist in me wants to blame holding. Definitely seems they are talented enough. The defense in general is a lackluster unit, one of the worst I have ever watched. The Jets, as bad as we have been recently, usually fields a pretty stout defense. These guys are not playing up to their potential. Coaching is not motivating them to execute. It's weird not having a good defense.
Mo Wilkerson. This guy gives ZERO effort on almost every play. I never really watched him to much because I know the kind of player he WAS.. but on a play where ARZ was pushing a pile i couldnt help but notice he was just standing there with his hands on his hips... I thought that was weird so I thought I would watch him on every snap and it was disgusting. I really encourage anyone who may have the game recorded to go and actually watch the defense and just keep an eye on Wilkerson the guy is phoning it in more then any player I have ever seen in a jets uniform. hes one of the highest paid players on the team, his salary could go towards players in the secondary and we could easily play richardson/williams/mcklendon in a base 3-4 and have more production. I see richardson chasing running backs out of bounds, I see Williams going hard every snap theres just no excuse. He needs to go, that kind of lazy ass play is contagious and cancerous to any team... I know its frustrating since we are losing and people are lashing out. I know fitz is playing bad and our secondary is getting burned and our o-line is getting beat etc but I can honestly say most of the time they are actually putting in an effort. they are just not fast/strong/smart/good enough to get it done right now. You can call them bad or say they are playing bad but they are actually trying and for the most part they seem pissed off when they lose... but as a fan of this team Im rooting for them to put it all together and have success. ...meanwhile wilkerson has the size/skill/speed and strength required to succeed. Hes being paid to be one of our leaders and inspire our team, but hes just cashing cheques. Fuck Him. Get the Fuck out of New York.

Revis is playing within himself, He is still containing his WRs better then an avg CB this year. larry had like 6 catched for 50 yards. thats not what killed us. Hes not what he used to be but hes also not in his prime like wilkerson is, Revis doesnt take plays off and when he was wilkersons age he led this defense to a top 5 unit.
