He also said the team did a shit job providing Sanchez enough weapons on offense. Well not like that but he told the truth. I guess that's the price you pay to have a dominating defense. Lets get a fucking win.
The defense better be prepared to provide consistent impact plays. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
It's what beginning to worry about. I'm beginning to think Rex needs a football guy above him as either president or GM. Not counting Tanny because he's more of a cap-specialist. Buddy's Eagles were an elite defense that deserved some SB rings but the offense was just so bad & not much was ever done to improve it. Rex seems to be following his father's footsteps here. Prior to this season, he was totally hands off with offense as evidenced from the blowup, quotes & having no idea why Holmes was even benched. Hopefully, last season's collapse and the drama from not upgrading the talent offensively will force him to be more well-rounded in the future. Makes me remember a quote from the Ravens GM that every year Rex wanted to draft corners.
Remember when there was talk of Dirk Koetter replacing Schotty? Well, it's only preseason, but the Falcons offense is looking unstoppable, and Matty Ryan is looking better than ever.
