Perhaps this is a strong possibility Milliner earned a scholarship to the university of Alabama as high school free safety but was better suited as a physical press man corner in coach Nick Saban's defensive scheme

Yeah he might see some time there and that might be a good use of him if he actually just stays healthy

Perhaps the position change of cb Dee Milliner to patrol the deep middle of the field is a strong possibility Milliner earned a scholarship to the university of Alabama as high school free safety but was considered to be good press cover corner in coach Nick Saban's defensive scheme we could benefit from this move if Milliner recovers from his season ending Achilles injury he seems to be recovering well in his hometown of Millbrook AL per inside sources

He turned a corner the last time he was on the field. I'm curious to see where he's at now.

I know Cromartie is a poor tackler, but with our D-Line we are going to get a lot of poor throws from QB's. It would be nice to have a guy with top ball skills roaming the middle in order to turn some of those errant passes into picks. We struggled mightily with that last year. I really believe "ball hawking" is a skill and I think Cro is best suited for it.

With that said I know it isn't going to happen. My ideal situation would be Milliner plays so well that he forces the Jets hand and they consider moving Cro back there in certain packages.

I wouldn't be surprised if he rotates ... Altho I'd like them to continue developing him at cb

"still" implies he ever had cover skills. if kyle wilson didnt exsist milliner would be the worst cb in a jet uniform in 20 years

That's pretty harsh. He's shown flashes, and we've had way worse than him in 20 years.

He played well in the limited snaps he had last year before he got hurt. I'd rather keep him at CB and let him develop there.

Didn't know this guy hit the bottle so hard for watching rounds 4-7. Pretty hardcore if you ask me.

Milliner will be cut unless he has a real breakout year this year [not going to happen, he stinks], he's too weak and frail for Free Safety.

i disagree he has shown flashes. and i cant think of any worse besides wilson the past couple decades. in his defense corner has always been pretty strong here going back to aaron glenn and marcus coleman.

    the guy is trash.
