Do you guys want Revis back next year? I couldn't believe what I read in the recent NFL.com article about him commenting that the Jets need to treat his situation with class. It's so funny that this greedy POS even knows that the word class exists. He has held the Jets hostage multiple times in his career. He has held out on every contract he has had here, even his rookie contract. Who does that? And now to come out and actively accuse the Jets of not treating him right and passive aggressively saying they better do so is laughable. Why are you even talking? Why is this even an article? Just STFU you irrelevant has been and take your unearned money. Retire now before you are permanently known as Revis Freeway. You are actually one of my most hated Jets due to your selfishness and greed. I don't think there has been a bigger asshole in football contract-wise so congratulations! GFY Revis. Good for you.

We should tape his next contract on to Sammy Watkins. If he can grab the contact, he can have it.

Class went out the window when you went to the Pats and won a soup. It was business then tho right?

This is priceless. this guy is the epitome of a mercenary and who has NO allegiance to this or any other fracnhise for that matter. He should be shown the door for his inept and unspirited play.

very easy to treat his situation with class -- "hey darrelle, just a heads up, we are going to cut you. If you want to retire first that would be great too. Its up to you"

You know what would be really classy? If this selfish POS gave back most of his salary because he played like dogshit all season. It would be super-dooper classy.

Treat him with class and make him renegotiate his contract to match his current skills. It's only fair, since he held out of his contract when he was playing at higher level and wanted to get paid.

The Jets should perform their own Revi$ holdout next season and deactivate him for every game until he agrees to renegotiate his contract to match his current level of skill and effort. That would be as classy as Revi$'s countless holdouts over the years.

This is a statement based on the assumption that us fans truly care if he retires a Jet.

At this point, please, retire a Patsy. This fucking guy, especially after checking out all year and being such a trash player for this team getting paid as much as he did, always looking out for himself, fuck off. I don't care and I hope they dump him hard after this pathetic final game.

    Fuck off, Mevis.

It's not like he chose them over us. The Jets didn't even make an offer.

This is true. I think Revis genuinely likes being a Jet.

He just likes money and himself way more. His view of himself really is skewed. He thinks of himself as the Jets version of Jeter.

His play this year was beyond shitty. And he never addressed. He still acts like he is elite.

Vince Wilfork was way more popular in NE, and Hoody didn't hesitate there. Hopefully Mac has some balls and cuts him.

How about you treat your employers situation with class and show up for camp in shape at least _one_ time?
