That was a retarded article, but yeah I'd say Revis is solidly in the top 5.

Man, Revis is almost becoming overrated at this point. I didnt think the best CB in football could become overrated... but its almost getting to that point.

The guy is a stud. Him and Namdi are the 2 best in the business. And I'd even put Revis up there as one of the better defenders in the league of any defensive position.

But 3rd best player in all of football? Revis had been underrated for a while... but hes quickly becoming overrated, which I didnt even think was possible.

He's a top 3 player but he would be wasted in a Tampa 2 system.

Jake Locker as the 31st best player in the NFL. That makes the rest of the article highly irrelevant.

He was clearly the best defensive player in football. Let's hope he maintains the drive and effort to stay there, and doesn't start believing all of his own press.

I would take Brees over Brady and Revis. Aaron Rodgers, Chris Johnson, Adrian Peterson would go before Revis to me too. He is not Top 10 to me.

Darrelle Revis is the Messiah. I am personally offended that the idiot who wrote this article didn't have him as all 32 picks.

I dont believe Rodgers belongs above Revis. Nor Brees and Brady. The rest id agree with though. Id say Chris Johnson, Peyton are definitely above Revis. Brady pre injury yes but currently no. And AP last season wouldnt be ahead of Revis in my book. He wasnt consistent enough and had some serious fumbleitis

The worst article I have ever read. Apparently, McCoy is already the 24th best player in the NFL.

I see your point and agree with you to an extent. I'd say you could argue for Revis being top 10 overall players, but it's hard to even distinguish this because all these guys play different positions.

Based on influence alone, the top 10 would probably be 7/10 made up of QBs.

I dont think theres 7 QBs that good.

Brees, Peyton, Rivers are the only 3 I think deserve to be in the top 10.

My top defenders in the NFL would look something like this:

    1) Patrick Willis
    2) Darrelle Revis
    3) Jared Allen
    4) Nnamdi Asomugha
    5) Kris Jenkins
    6) Demarcus Ware
    7) Troy Polomalu
    8) Albert Haynesworth
    9) James Harrison
    10) Charles Woodson

My top offensive players in the NFL:

    1) Peyton Manning
    2) Drew Brees
    3) Chris Johnson
    4) Tom Brady
    5) Adrian Peterson
    6) Philip Rivers
    7) Andre Johnson
    8) Aaron Rodgers
    9) Kurt Warner (if he wasn't retired)
    10) Larry Fitzgerald

I'd have to give some serious thought when mixing the two lists. But I don't think Revis would be #3 overall when you combine those lists.
