"Chances are, he will show up unhappy with his current deal, which has two years and $13.5 million remaining."

    Cimini is such an asshole.

Not a surprise considering he said he would.

    Good first step.

Now the Jets need to reward this man for giving us Jets' fans SOME bragging rights in the football world these past few years.

    Quoted for truth.

What a stupid article. It's a bunch of non news. Nobody who knew anything about Jets thought he wasn't showing up this year. What a joke. Revis has not said once that he is unhappy with this current contract, but ESPN and NFL.com are retards and just made it up. Dishonest journalism, looking to attack and cause controversy on the Jets. What else is new?

Haha exactly. The media feeds all this crap. We all knew he would show up to avoid that.

darkside here, if thats what you want to call me (since I believe the best way for a strong future is to not have all this $ tied up in a selfish, unhappy, stick-up man, CORNER-BACK). That said, we are a better team CURRENTLY with him and I am very please he showed up to camp (basically had no choice as he would forefit a lot of $). Welcome to Cortland Revi$, I wonder how long before you tart discussing your displeasure in the contract YOU SIGNED the last time the Jets were in Cortland.

He had to show up we basically owned him. He better not pull LONG stunt like this again last year even though I know something will be happening.

??? What makes you think Revis is unhappy? He made like 25 million last season.

Good. Hopefully he will continue to play at an all-time great level and we don't have to hear about a hold out until next year.

The Jets need to find a way to front load the guaranteed money backload the bulk of the contract on a very long deal... say 8-10 years. Ideally the Jets would have cap freedom in the last 3 years of the deal in case his health / skills take a turn for the worst.

he wants a new deal, yet forgets we overpaid him the first two years of the contract. We havent heard the last of this situation; Revis showing up to camp is purly because of the hold out clause. If that clause was not in there you bet your tush he would not be showing up.

At least this is a start of avoiding any holdout mess.
