Don't think it would make a difference. Fitz and Geno both suck ass. And this team has a roster gutted of talent from Idzik's mistakes. Bowles isn't to blame. He's made some rookie errors and Gailey sucks.
They didn't choose poorly, he chose well. He wanted the Atlanta job cause they actually had a QB that can throw down the field and a star receiver that isn't a wackjob. If the Jets had their druthers Quinn would be the coach but it wasn't entirely up to them. But yeah Quinn = Brett Favre and Bowles = Browning Nagle at this point
Not impressed with Quinn either. Falcons are 6-4, that's only one more win than us. They've lost 4 of their last 5 (sound familiar?). The only team they have beaten since October is Tennessee. And that's with a good QB.
Dan Quinn? He just lost his 3rd in a row...... And they have a much better QB, and a much Better #1 WR...... And a Much better RB in Freeman...... The jury is still very much out on both Quinn and Bowles.
If I could blame Bowles I would!!! LOL No I am pointing out that Quinn has a QB and Bowles doesn't so it isn't exactly fair to compare the two because the circumstances are different. IMO, if the Jets had a QB this team would be much further along despite Bowles' obvious failures as a HC. Right now Bowles has managed to put together the worst qualities of Rich Kotite, Herm Edwards and Rex Ryan - I guess in that regard he deserves some credit.
Falcons started 5-0 if I remember correctly. They're now 6-4. Sounds pretty similar to how the Jets season has gone
If we had Ryan with Gailey and the current roster, we would probably have the same record, maybe 6-4. JMO
ehh, I do believe he started the post about Quinn and that was his statement. The fact that we didn't get him perhaps?
