He had a good game against miami. He got pressure on harrington. i think he did a good job yesterday and is showing signs of improvement

1 game is not a trend. I am a Jets fan though, and hope he can improve.

Are you talking about one play, a series, quarter or entire game? I saw "ONE" play were Robertson hit (good hit) Harrington. Other than that, he was using his super powers of invinsibility.

The D-line is just embarrassing. It's not like we have rookies in there and can give learning curve excuses. Stephen Hawking could run a hundred yards on us.

playing NT in the 3-4 isn't really about getting hits on the qb

correct. it's not about hits. it's suppose to plug holes, take up 2 blockers and stop the run, which we fail miserably every week. He's not good. everyone knows it. blame it on whatever, out of position, double teams, whatever. he's just not good. i wish he were good, but wishing won't make it so.

I am just about the only person who will stand up and say I thought he would be a good NT before the season started and he definitely hasn't so far, but I agree, he is getting better. Earlier, the opposing RB would be three or four yards downfield before he hit the line and yesterday DRob was definitely holding the line. Now, he's just got to get off his blocks better and make plays while holding the line. We'll see, but I'm somewhat encouraged thus far.

ill back you on this and second it. he looked like trash so far. but ive noticed ALOT of improvement. its easy to blame d-rob fas the NT for every play when its obvious others are overpursuing or getting taken out of position.

he still has a LONG way to go. i'm still one who would like to see him a DE more but hes finally starting to hold his blocks and not try to penetrate. but the biggest thing ive noticed...........hes a demon in the redzone. specifically goal line. last few games ive just noticed hime split double teams and make a TFL when we need it.

not making him out to be a hero but he has given some positives recently to point to aside from our horrible run d.

lol ronnie brown had his career high on us..and guards were still going right after vilma. Robertson stood out once on the big hit he gave the qb.. so i dont know how good he was yesterday considerng those things.

all i noticed is the 1 QB pressure.

Fatboy D-Rob looks even more pathetic now that he has to face doubleteams in the 3-4. The guy couldn't play 1-gap, how the F do u expect him to play 2...

also, to say he's "getting better" isn't saying much.

actually, i've seen him get doubled on plenty of plays, both run-blocking and in pass protection. it's such a sorry sight. Drob tries one move, and if he can't free himself immediately he just stops since he's so out of shape and has no motor.

as a NT he gets better and better. d-rob and the rest will continue to get better because it takes time. you cant just switch to a 3-4 defense and then expect to dominate. even though some guys act like its that easy...they have no clue. let them talk

well i coulda swore the NT job in the 3-4 is to keep his linebackers clean. and take up space. if thats the case he aint doing it. theres is guard on vilma on every play even the annoucers pointed that out... but if a NT has diffrent job that i dont know about than im clueless. so school on me the job of a NT.

hello? the guy is called nose tackle for a reason. he lines up right in front of the center and takes him out + a guard. and he DOES that if you just watch him play. he cant take on all 5 linemen
ellis doesnt get double teamed at all and kimo just plain sucks against the run. and its not like our linebackers are playing lights out. they have no clue how to play the 3-4 defense.

His job is to take on as many as possible and free up space fro Vilma. Vilma consistently has a blocker on him and he doesnt get the open space he needs. D-rob I thought would have been a good NT but he hasnt been one. Ellis has been bad and Kimo has sucked, however d-rob has been just as bad as them if not worse. Our whole d-line has been pathetic. And once again Moore outplayed d-rob. Its time to get rid of d-rob and start Moore.

dude its only possible for a NT to take on 2 guys. a center and a guard. you dont see a NT get blocked by 3 or 4 guys

just watch the games. once again, d-rob GETS double teamed 9 out of 10 plays. shaun ellis doesnt and kimo doesnt. that means at least 2 guards/tackles are able to block our linebackers. if you want to blame d-rob, go ahead but we all know its not the truth.

i find that hard to believe when vilma takes on a guard on every play. but screw that we do this every week... let me ask you one question. has d rob played up to his 8 million salary he gets this year in ur mind?
