I?ll probably get killed for starting a new thread for this but?I?m sure most of you saw the interview on ESPN with D-Brick; what an intelligent, well spoken guy. I loved his ?I?ll play where the coaching staff gives me the opportunity to play and do what it takes to help the team? attitude. Growing up on Long Island as a Jets fan definitely can?t hurt either.

It?s so refreshing to see a kid not taking for granted the opportunity before him. JMHO

You can tell he's intelligent and a stand up guy. He's very well spoken and I'm sure he blew the Jets away with his knowledge of the game and his work ethic. Good choice now all we need is for him to play like Orlando Pace when he gets on the field.

His interview on SNY was pretty good as well. Only caught the end of it, but he seemed real bright and confident. Seems like he's really eager to get to work. It's hard not to embrace a guy like him.

I’ve seen some quotes over the past few weeks from him that I liked but that was the first interview with him I’ve seen. There’s definitely a difference between reading a quote from a man and hearing him make one.

Only time will tell what will become of Mangini but there’s definitely something to the approach of finding players with a true passion for the game. I’m so over these 22 year old punks that think the world owes them a living.
