Ferguson's problem isn't as much getting to a high weight in the offseason, it's that he burns the weight off as the season wears on. It's why he's always weighing in low after the years over and these elaborate off season weight gain programs are needed.

He weighed in at 312! That's what i'm talking about now. I'd even go as far as 305, but 312 is more than what most of us expected. He was said to stay around 295, but now bulking up has to make the pick much more intriguing for Tanny and Mangini.

The Jets can't take him unless they are convinced he is a starting LT.

Good point about his weight going down as the season wears on. However, even if he end up at the 295-305 range, that's not too bad.

Especially when you consider guys have the ability to put on AND KEEP ON weight as their careers progress, I have no doubt if the Jets take D'Brick he will end his sophomore season in the 310-315 range.

I heard this guy speak at the combine and he is articulate, knowlegable and has a sense of humor. It seams like this is the kind of guy you build a unit around.

At #4 I want a guy who will help the team for 7+ years. I'm not sure Cutler/Young will be able to do that when you consider QBs are more risky of a projection then tackles.

Even if D'Brick starts his rookie year at RT (which I would fully expect unless he has an amazing camp) Adrian Jones and D'Brick would form a great pair of bookends to whoever is QB/RB.

I wont be upset if the jets take D'brickashaw i think he can be a great RT.

LT is taken by adrian jones he did decently last year and can only get better. Jones cannot be RT he is not strong enough.
