    I'm sure pitching against Little Leaguers and Clowns allowed for some max-3-pitch outs.

    I did think it was pretty cool that he threw 500 pitches though. I think baseball players today are pussies with this 100 pitch count BS.

    holy crap. that's crazy. a pitch count of 500? I don't care how or what he was throwing. that's craziness.

    and the team just kept playing? Did they have stoppages in between games?

    It was the assistant GM. I'm thinking those 500 pitches were lobs at best.

    They played some of the WFAN guys and BEAT them 6-4...

    That's sad...They're probably on their 15th hour of playing when these fresh guys come in and they lose.
