Just more evidence of why we like Curtis as much as we do. But I share in your sentiment- he's done, and that is not a good thing. We all knew the day would come, but didn't envision that it would happen under these terms.

Curtis has a great skillset to bring to the table in the way of mentoring and maybe coaching down the road- it doesn't sound like he's wasting any time.

Curtis is the man. If he can help Washington out by tutoring him, then Washington will be a keeper. I hope he takes advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

You would be a fool not to soak up all that useful information from a future HOF. Although I really feel bad for L.Jordon, to bad his team blows dong right now. I think he would have been such an asset here. :/

Watch for Leon to break some nice runs this weekend in his Homecoming game! Can't wait.

I'm really glad we have a guy like Curtis Martin on this team. Even when he is not playing, he is helping out the players. Leon could be our future RB. Glad to see he's learning from the best of the best.

When the time comes, we have to retire Curtis's number. It is not just the great running carer, but how he conducted himself off of the field, too.

I believe that Leon can become our feature back. No he is not too small.

I love the guy. Curtis is one of the greatest Jets of all team and personifies what a football player should be. Unselfish, hardworking, smart, and tough. I love how he tutors the rooks. Even guys like Brett Favre, supposedly a real great guy, say they aren't here to tutor younger players and don't do it. Its such a huge assett to have a guy like Curtis on the team, playing or not.

How likely is that??? Does that type of thing happen much in the NFL?

I don't think he absorbs a spot on PUP anyway.

But my word you must not have watched the Monday night game. Carroll made Miller look like Champ Bailey he was so bad in coverage. So bad that he was cut on the spot.
