I was going to not vote in this one but after seeing other people voting in their own polls I decided too. I really like my team and feel that I have a solid player at every position. My offense is solid all around with a good QB, great RB and a great WR. My second WR is a possession guy who knows what it takes to win and my TE is a great patch catcher. The O-Line is built well with veteran Tom Nalan keeping everyone in line. I actually feel that my defense is stronger than my offense. The defensive line includes two stars at DE with Osi and Justin Smith. Smith is a quiet underappreciated DE who has great stats for his career. Osi is so fast off the outside. My LB are young and fast and are sure tacklers. Bart Scott is a very good MLB and DJ Williams has shown to be a playmaker on the outside. My CB's are pretty good with Pac Man Jones (ignoring his off the field issues) and Dre Bly. Obviously I grabbed Rhodes at FS to be a great playmaker.
I can't find one area where you are legitimately stronger than me. I'll give you RB, but it's not like Portis is much of a drop off.
I like my QB much better than yours. Romo may not be a superstar but he is a solid producer. Vick might sound like a great QB to have but when has he ever lived up to the hype? He has always been a dissapointment and although it might have been a steal when you got him I don't think he is the kind of QB that can lead a team to a Super Bowl. I don't know how you can say you have a better MLB when the guy was cut by his team and failed a physical by another team. I also like my secondary better and my d-line.
I figured you'd go for QB, I don't think either has shown a damn thing. You gotta be kidding with the secondary though. I'll give McCree and Pool a tie for one having more experience, the other more talent, but.. Trufant and Lucas are both elite young corners. Bly was at that level, but he's always been undersized and his best days are probably behind him, Pacman's not even going to play this year, and even if he did, he would be the 4th best CB in this group. Bart Scott isn't even primarily a middle linebacker, but he shifts over enough that I let it slide. Really, I have no idea what's up with Al Wilson, this shit felt like it started to go down the day after I picked him. What happened to the guy that's 95 overall in Madden? What's he, 30 tops?
I agree with you that Al Wilson would have been a great pick. I actually had him as the guy I wanted at MLB. He went from being a great MLB to not having a team. I just think we are about even and it could go either way. I'm obviously going to like my team better and your gonna like yours. I guess we will see how the voting turns out.
Mantana Soss and Greyhound Jet have advanced to Round 2. They will be in a pool with Group 2 who is Murrell and the winner of DITK/AGS
