I also thought a lot of those penalties were tick tacky...

Remember one week where he had one of his best games ever and covered WRs like a blanket..

Next week with different refs, the same exact type of play were called....

Cro, plays tight, if the refs are going to call it he's in trouble - and no ref gives him the same benefits they give Revis.

Not sure Cro is smart enough to work the refs and tell the difference between a tight calling crew and one that lets them play but, I'm pretty sure Rex wants Cro Right at that line and to test it weekly.

For a guy that's a poor tackler, he sure has been sticking it to guys and hitting hard lately. Crobar is part of the reason our secondary finished #5 in the league last year in yards. Back away from the ledge people, Cromartie is a great CB and versatile as well. His strengths are speed and quickness, not physicality and power. He's a finesse guy but he's excellent in coverage. You can't deny that.

Closest thing the NYJETS have had since Bryan Cox.

NYJETS fans never cease to amaze me they bitch moan and groan about everything.

Im willing to bet if and when we win the Super Bowl there will be guys here bitching about something.

Cromartie is nothing like Bryan Cox, you shouldn't insult Cox with the comparison.

Above average cover corner w/a couple of screws loose. looks like he's trying to stir shit up and hit some people. I hope somebody pancakes him. if its an issue then the players need to work this out amongst themselves. let cumberland run him over a few times and see if Cro still wants to take shots at people.

I don't know about the enforcer.

I do think Rex is behind this, he likes the media attention and they're talking Tebow 24/7.

    This.

...and the fact that he publicly called Tom-Terrific an Asshole should make you all forget any of the long list of nonsense that comes out of his mouth.

Let's also not forget his freakish-athletic ability that allows him to make plays all over the field - - including his return skills, which if you forget, put us in position to beat the Colts in the 2011 play-offs with 0:50 seconds left in the game -- game was pretty much over. Yea, that was big. Dude is a weapon.

    http://youtu.be/cM0cHjAegdQ <-------Jets ended Peyton's Colts career. hah

Happy he's on our side, and I really wouldn't want anyone playing opposite Revis, so say what you will about his antics or his enormous family...I really don't give a _ _ _ _.

Cro's attitude is only a "problem" because something needs to fill the 24/7 coverage of the team.

Who gives a shit if he runs his mouth, or gets chippy in practice. He delivers on Sundays, and I guarantee you that's all that matters to his teammates and coaches.

Saying Cro is anything like Cox shows a complete lack of knowledge about anything football. Cox was Physical as hell on the feild. Cro is well known for ducking tackles. Hell, someone needs to bust out the playoff gif against Greene just to make the point.

Cro is a extrememly talented man cover corner who is best at playing press coverage. He has always been more than a bit off kilter upstairs, but he is far away from the type of physical presence Cox was.

You can look at Cromartie two ways I suppose. One is he is a damn good #2 cornerback with issues, or he is a damn good cornerback that years his team apart by saying and doing some stupid things.

    Excellent

This behavior is hardly surprising yet understandably irritating. He is a football player not civic leader, with more illegitimate children than yrs of schooling lol.

Great range / athleticism, long frame, game break return ability. Basically the perfect 2nd corner. It's on Rex to keep him inline, which hasn't been a strength of our coach.

I hate my fellow Jet fans more than Cromartie. at least he doesn't come across as some whiny, insecure pussy that thinks the world is out to get him or some teenage drama queen that has to always find something to cry about.

Some people live for drama and others live to create it. Being a fan of how he plays and not the type of person he is can coexist pretty easy. The problem is that some folks chose to believe the team and players they root for should have a moral compass whether on the field or off.

There is nothing wrong with either opinion based in the type of players they choose to route for.

    I don't even think It's arguable.

    I'll go one step further.

if Cro is somewhere else, and Kyle Wilson is the number 2....Mevi$ is not in camp and looking for 8 years/100mil.
