Again and for the last time, I would be more concerned if Bowles was. If Bowles moves Cro down in the depth chart, we'll know you were right. That hasn't happened. If it does, then fine. But until then...
Funny thing is Bowles kinda brushed off the questions about Cro struggling too.. He's not concerned and neither is Cro so i guess we shouldn't be either.. unless he's still saying this kinda shit during the season..
Once the season starts it will be clearly evident if Cro still got it or not. Playing on the other side of revis ensures that he will be tested often . He will give up plays. He's not darrelle revis . But need to learn to play more conservative and ditch the boom or bust play style. No more huge plays. Additionally , I am also concerned with our safeties . I know it's still early but I have not seen much from them that instills any confidence. Stellar play from the safeties would go a long way in helping cronshire on that side of the D.
Not for nothing bro but he was overated last year and his last year with us he was pure garbage. All this talk and excuses is about guy who has been getting beat by avg wr's and knows it.....btw I have no faith in our head coach until he earns it
Obviously believes he has still got it and doesn't need to go 100% in practice to prove that. We will know at week 2 against the Colt's passing attack whether it's true or not.
Eric Allen@eallenjets Revis gets a clean pick in team. Heaps pass was intended for Rumph. Next play - Cro jumps route and goes Pick 6. 12:08 PM - 19 Aug 2015
It's not a question of being right or wrong. I'm poiting out that Cro has looked like garbage so far in camp and preseason. That's a fact. I don't know who's gonna show up in week 1, maybe he'll turn the corner, I don't know. Neither do you, neither does Todd. Stop acting like I'm saying Cro is awful and he's done just because I don't ignore his camp and preseason performance so far. If you want to just blindly think he's gonna be a stud come week 1 that's fine, I hope you're right. But based on what we've seen so far there are some legit concerns about him. How can you disagree with that?
This is the most non-story story I've seen in a long time. If anyone knows Cromartie it's the guy who was coaching him last year. If anyone knows DB's it's a former DB (Bowles). Maybe Cro's washed up and maybe he isn't but in the words of Allen Iverson 'we're talking about practice....we're talking about practice y'all!'
^^^ Check it out: obviously something of significance just took place causing Kobe's quiet meltdown and what's the guidette behind him doing? ...... holding a drink and texting like she's sitting in a departure lounge. What street kid wouldn't kill for that prime seat - t'ain't fair. Bernie for prez. on-topic: when Cro starts shooting blanks then I'll worry. Anyway, as for the "getting beat" during camp goes, Cro (as good an athlete as he is) can lose sight of the ball sometimes particularly on long passes (e.g. Bears vs. Johnny Knox, Steelers vs.Emmanuel Sanders). Whether he'll be rounding into form for week #1 or is turning into "Willie Mays-with-the-Mets" only time will tell. I still think he has something left in the tank. Besides, Coach Bowles knows better than anyone - the CBs are in good hands.
I love how we're supposed to ignore all the reports of Cro getting smoked by scrubs in practice because it's practice, but Cro picking off Jake Heaps is supposed to be important. You can't have it both ways. Either it's practice and it doesn't matter or it's significant when Cro picks off Jake Heaps. Which is it?
It is an absolute joke that there are no such thing as 2 a days anymore. There is definitely a correlation between reduced practices and injuries in preseason games and practice.
