I know the debate is still on the QB, for the most part. Since there’s a pretty good chance we could stick with Sam, should we finish shoring up the O-line? What do you guys think of Creed Humphrey? I know it’s not as sexy as a WR or a running back for our Seattle pick, but if he’s there, do we take him?

Absolutely, I know he is a center, and can also play guard. I see mocks that gave him as high as 16 and ones where he isn't taken in 1sr round.

I saw a clip of him and Q banging out, they were going at it. He’s like 6’5 3-something and fast and strong.
We’d be moving towards five blocks of granite with him in the middle.

Apparently he's a lefty. That would take time for a QB to get used to.

He could still be there at Seattle's pick. If so, I'd have no problems taking him unless it meant passing up on Waddle or Pitts.

Sidenote Slater has gotten a ton of helium and supposedly can play guard AND center in addition to tackle. He’s slated to be the 2nd tackle taken.

Well if we’re building around Sam we will have two picks to use now. A guy like Chase or Smith with the first pick and Creed with the second doesn’t sound too bad.

Then at 33 can pick BPA between RB, TE & edge.

  8. Have liked Humphrey for acouple yrs now. Do wish he had made more strides from JR to SR yr.Borderline 1st rounder

I think either way, one of our first 3 picks will be one of starting guards next year.
