Gotta go with the Favresota Vikings. Dallas wins on the road weren't really impressive minus NO and a shutout at washington. They lost on the road to Denver, GB, and the Giants. Vikes are 8-0 at home, coming off a big (although a gimme) win over the Giants. Favre 68.4 4202 33/7 107.2 Romo 63.1 4483 26/9 97.6
Goin' with Minny on this one......Wade Phillips is more of a choke artist than Childress, but it's close. Plus...I was at the Vikes/Packers monday nighter in Oct....it gets pretty fucking loud in the Metrodome.....it'll be tough place for any road team to win at.
Vikings because after the Patriots I hate the Cowboys the most I so want this game to come down to the wire and I hate wishing injuries on guys but hope Favre goes down if they win or Romo goes down if Cowboys win
Vikings have trouble running the ball, haven't looked good the last month, and outside of sacks the D hasn't been that impressive. Cowboys D on the other hand is outstanding, and the offense is playing fantastic. their run game against the Vikings run defense is almost as favorable for them as the Jets is against the Chargers, and their passing game is better than the Vikings.
I think Jared Allen, Peterson, and Favre will light it up and win this game. Favre probably wants to win the superbowl more than anyone in the NFL right now. Vikings at home have the edge and should win.
I assure you, most players want to win the Super Bowl just as much as he does. why would Kurt Warner want to win it less, or Peyton Manning or even Mark Sanchez? I'm sure as the Pats lost Brady was like, "eh, didn't really want to win another Super Bowl as much as I could have wanted to." just stupid. stupid. stupid.
My point was that Favre has a lot more to prove than everyone else. Sure he's won before, but he came out of retirement for this, to a HATED divisional rival. Can you imagine the colossal failure his return will be seen as if he loses the game on Sunday to the Cowboys and doesn't win the superbowl? Peyton Manning, Kurt Warner, Mark Sanchez, etc all have another shot at it next year. Do you really think Favre has another year in him? This is (most likely) his last shot at winning and he has probably the most talented team in the NFL behind him to help, no excuses. It's win or go home forever for Favre.
