Offense is more of a need but they've gotta go BPA right here...Wimbley
Jason Allen. They won't take a DE/LB after taking their first three picks last year at those positions. They need a safety, and Allen is a good fit for them.
you guys are off base here they took andre ware last year as their de/olb in the 3-4 pass rusher....kameron wimbley is the same type of player....i see a safety or an o-lineman
Bingo. There is a 0% chance the Cowboys take another 3-4 tweener on draft day unless Ware gets kicked out of the NFL before April 29th. His first name is DeMarcus btw.
haha wow i said andre ware....wasn't he a former great college qb? but yea, i don't see how people can see dallas taking wimbley here this is wrong
Dude have you ever watched the draft? This is the second post I have seen of yours saying there is 0% chance of so and so happening. You should know that you have no clue what is going on in these war rooms and there have been more than a few surprises during the draft over the years. Parcells loves those LB tweeners and always goes the BPA. So if Wimbley or Lawson or Joe Shmoe is BPA thats who he will pick..
Well with needs at WR, S, DT, OT, and LB (not the tweener LB though) he'd be stupid to take one. Santonio Holmes and Marcus McNeill should both be around for his pick so Parcells would not be stupid enough to pass on dire needs for a position already filled by an excellent player.
You don't draft for needs and noone knows that better than Parcells. Now I have no idea who they will pick and I respect that you think that you know Parcells team better than Parcells but to say there is 0% chance of anything happening during the draft is naive IMO..
You are right... I have thought about it and yes it does have a chance to happen. But Lawson was just as good as a player in college as McNeill or Holmes was... and Lawson only looks better then him because he is a workout warrior. In reality they both have shots of being equal players in the NFL so why not pick the one that fills a need instead of picking the one that you already have? As I said in another thread having Ware and Lawson in pass defense is murder... and a guy like Chad Greenway would fit them much better on the other side if they want to go first round LB. I still think Holmes would be the best pick because after Owens and Glenn, who are both getting up there in age, you have Crayton who is average at best but does make a good 3 receiver and then no one. They need a burner, a deep threat to compliment Bledsoe's arm (Glenn is quick but doesn't have blazing speed) and Holmes would be the perfect fit. So yea, if you haven't figured it out already Dallas is my #2 team and I will root for them when the game has no meaning on the Jets. I really would like to see them pick up someone on the offensive side of the ball or in the secondary with the first rounder because they have a lot of depth in the front 7. LB can be addressed in the 2nd round.
