Saw on Eric Boland's blog that both Andre Smith and Mat Stafford are coming for visits. The best is that Cannizzaro also has the Stafford story but suggests a 3 team deal. The jets would trade 2 1st rd picks plus more for the 1st pick and Det would get Cutler for the Jets picks lol
If the Jets are willing to give up the two picks they might as well take Cutler themselves. Stafford is anything but a sure bet to be a top QB.

Nobody thinks Stafford is that kind of prospect. He's in the Alex Smith/Aaron Rodgers/Jay Cutler category not the Peyton Manning/John Elway/Troy Aikman bracket.

What are you talking about hasn't done shit? He was an all-pro QB last season.... open your eyes. Harris and Rhodes haven't done shit at the NFL level.
I don't think the Jets should go nuts to get Cutler either. What I was saying was in response to the initial posting. If you're gonna give up two 1st rounders to get Stafford, you'd be better off just getting Cutler and cutting out the middle man. Stafford is a project, and the Jets have a bunch of those already.
