I'm happy as hell we are up but could we please get some pressure on Cassel other than just having both or DE's rush right past him as he steps up in the pocket.
Lets just let Cassell have all day, I am really pissed off about this defense. And who is gonna cover the right side of the field, Gaffney and Watson keep catching passes on the same f'in routes
It's pathetic that the CS is too scared to blitz. We blitz the past games, cause pressure, TO's and get Wins.. Now , we're scared.
Bad team you guys have, pure and simple. The Pats have the most dynamic QB in the modern era out for the season as well as a TON of other starters, and you guys are getting gashed, absolutley outclassed since about halfway through the 2nd Quarter. Try to get Fisher in the offseason or something.
This is my beef, our LBs are too slow to cover Mangini, we might as well blitz because the LB we take out of coverage to blitz was going to let his man get open anyway.
While the 3-man rush was atrocious, you can't forget the Pats have a good O-line and the Jets didn't get two timely sacks.
