Its definitely something that they absolutely SHOULD do. I mean, Long Island was their home for so long, and they really built such a huge fanbase here (I live in Brooklyn, but am from Long Island). Hofstra's facilities left a little bit to be desired, but from the sound of it (and look of it; i went to a few games there for my high school team, it seemed like great facilities) Stony Brook is very satisfactory and also its very far away from the city, so they'd still be "secluded" which is what they love about Cortland over Hofstra.

Well the best thing about Stony Brook is fans from the city could easily just hop on a train to go check it out. The train literally stops @ the fence to the school, so it makes it way more convenient for fans.

Plus (I dont know this is necessarily a good thing) but theres actually nice stuff around the Stony Brook area for the players. I mean being out in civiliziation has to be alot nicer than bumblefuck upstate

Not to mention the school actually has a Hilton hotel opening up ON campus, though im not sure if theyd want players staying in hotel rooms for camp lol

Plus its 10 minutes from the PJ-Bridgeport Ferry.

I'm a student at Stony Brook, so I would be hyped as hell if this were the case!

With all the renovations @ Stony Brook, plus the medical facility/travel options, I would imagine that they have to strongly consider it.

I mean brand new hotel, train, ferry, hospital, brand new stadium.

What more could you ask for

You're a student at Stony Brook NOW but in a few months you'll graduate and take a bell hop position at Motel 6 in Cortland NY. Then what??? You'll leave the lights on?

Id totally consider taking a job at the Stony Brook hospital if they land the Jets contract.

Im sure id end up getting some patients from the Jets via training camp injuries over the years

Oh man if we get Otah im sure me and him would get real acquainted
