Faucis emails are hilarious. None of it's suprising. Kary Mullis, creator of the PCR test that was used to rack up the numbers, said it best before he coincidentally died before Event 201; Fauci is a fraud

Right now Fauci is the most respected man in Washington - professional, knowledgeable, low-key, no nonsense and not afraid to ruffle anyone's feathers. Every politician in that swamp should learn a lesson from him - there's value in telling the truth.

To even criticize Fauci in public will end political careers.

It's really not fair to hold it against Fauci for being wrong about a brand-new virus; this email was from early February 2020. Being trustworthy doesn't mean never making mistakes, it means correcting them instead of running with them to provide the illusion you were never wrong in the first place.

Have you seen something that proves he's wrong?

FTR, I'm not dumb enough to wrestle alligators.... but I do know a guy that used to at the Alligator Farm... until...he found out why he got paid less as the maintenance guy, than the alligator wrestler.

But I have driven through a tornado (unintentionally...... GO NISSAN). ;)

Another lie from the fraud. Funny to see sheep defend him about lying, and then changing his stance. How are you going to defend this? He knew the truth all along and flip flopped, and then flip flopped again back........

Studies on masks have been done for decades. Fauci knows masks don't work, which what he originally said, which was correct.

Reading the responses to the released emails this morning is reminding me why I should take a long break from social media.
Welcome to the world of science.

the emails I've seen so far aren't even that noteworthy. I expected more bombshells. He was wrong about aspects of the novel virus in February of 2020 and changed his views/suggestions as we learned more. That's called leadership

-It breaks the Qanon theory that he knew about it the whole time and this was some kind of "planned" pandemic or whatever trash they come up with.
-It also breaks the conspiracy theory that he was aiming to profit from a vaccine since he was telling people he does not expect a vaccine for quite some time

In some ways it makes him out to be a decent guy. He was answering emails from average joes and average American doctors. This guy is the head of NIAID during a pandemic, talk about busy and stress and yet he's still taking time out of his day to respond when he could to questions from average people experiencing the pandemic in their community

It doesn't matter to them. This is a "gotcha" moment and proof Fauci is going to jail or whatever.

Anyone who thinks he is going to jail is dumb.

Should he be fired? Perhaps, but that's not easy to determine.

Perhaps he will get "me-too'd" like Cuomo as the next sacrificial lamb.

Disclaimer: I haven't read the Fauci emails.

Having said that, I think it's fine if he was wrong about some things. That's how science and logical thought work - you adjust your views to new information. Everyone was pretty much guessing about COVID in early 2020.

What I do have a big problem with is how questioning the media narrative was met with disdain and accusations of spreading misinformation. There was decent evidence to suspect a lab leak even in early 2020, but anyone who said as much was largely dismissed as a right-wing conspiracy theorist. We have to be able to question the authorities when there is valid reason to do so.

In an age where a huge percentage of the population gets their information from social media it's extremely dangerous to have rational, logical views dismissed as misinformation simply because they don't align with the dominant narrative.

I truly believe that most of the major problems in the US stem from our biased media infrastructure. Whether that be TV or social media, there's a clear bias and it leads to a lot of people thinking inflammatory things about the "other" side that either aren't true or have been greatly exaggerated or twisted to suit an agenda.

I'd prefer the Chief Medical Advisor to the President to do more than "pretty much guess".

The esteemed Dr. Fauci publicly pushed back on the lab leak theory... after being presented with evidence of such.

And there's good reason to investigate why he did so.

The whole thing suspiciously stinks... and could possibly turn out to be the biggest man made catastrophe in history.
