If you have friends or relatives attempting to fly overseas or BACK HERE ,United Airlines ( and possibly others ) will cancel ALL overseas flights as of the 19th for at least 10 days and it could be sooner than the 19th

Trump can flip the chart upside down and say it's going up. Or he can pretend the coronavirus cases are the stock market.

Yup, flying overseas is not a good idea these days. A close relative of mine went on a trip to Jordan a few days ago, despite multiple pleas to postpone the trip. Jordan announced that they are closing all borders on Tuesday. So, they managed to book a flight for today. The flight got canceled and now they are flying back through Abu Dhabi and Atlanta. Lesson learned, I hope....

Who said it's gonna slow down? If your sitting around worrying about the people who test positive you are gonna go into a complete panic in a few weeks....people are gonna get sick just like the flu it's not airborne AIDS....worry about mortality rates.

I can't believe I only asked this ~48 hours ago. Seems like we are on the path for this.. Lots of states are shutting down restaurants + bars and ofc all the schools being closed already.

Don't be surprised if these numbers get into the millions rather quickly. 327+ million people in the country and thousands carrying the virus while being undetected through symptoms.

This is the biggest melting pot of a country in the world while we finish second for travel according to world atlas. Behind Finland which is kind of weird. But there are tons of people that ignored the warnings all over China and Europe over the past 2-3 months.

I hate to sound super insensitive but I don't feel bad for these international travelers coming home and facing massive crowds in the airport. These aren't (for the most part) people that have been out of the country for over a month. These are people that decided that their trip was more important than their own and their communities safety.

I get it. You save for a year maybe multiple years for the dream vacation to Paris, or Germany or where ever. But the markings have been on the wall to not travel for this thing for over a month. And these folks decided to still take that risk.

I don't wish that they get it or any harm to them. But sometimes you have to be smarter about things even if it hits the wallet.

My mom lives in the south and has a coworker returning from a trip to Japan this weekend. Really? Japan was the move last week???

Now all NYC bars and restaurants to be takeout and delivery only according to a teaser for the eleven o'clock news on channel 7.

Having all those people come back at once was insanely irresponsible. It should have been set up so that they entered the country gradually over a period of days.

Idiots in charge at every level

Bloomberg would have been fantastic at this sort of logistical challenge
