Governments make things worse. Government created Coronavirus, Government failed to tell people about Coronavirus, Government wasted trillions on coronavirus, Government has no clue what they are doing.

I think people would have done a lot better job without government involvement, but actually we wouldnt be in this predicament If it wasn't for the Chinese.......government.

It’s amazing how people don’t understand how a line works. At any store where there are a few registers or self checkouts, you’ll see a line , and the next person goes to the next open one. But there’s always those few idiots who think everyone is just waiting for the fun of it, and they are going to walk past everyone and stand right next to someone who is checking out.

Yet numerous scientists, not part of any government, have stated based on their research, that it was not created in a lab. And no, you posting a few youtube videos of fringe scientists exclaiming that it is, is not any kind of proof that it was.

I'll give you proof after you give me actual proof that lockdowns work. Still waiting on that.

Keep an eye on Brazil. Sweden didn't technically lock down, but with all their restrictions, their measures are about as strict as ours. Brazil on the other hand is a country that isn't doing much at all, and their cases are blowing up.

Cases blew up in NY and we didn't hit peak daily cases until a full month after locking down. Every place that has locked down or not locked down has seen a huge increase, followed by a decrease.

But I will follow Brazil thanks.

You'll note that if Trump had a single strand of leadership anywhere in that massive blowhard carcass the governors wouldn't have had to figure things out on an individual basis.

Donald Trump is the biggest argument for government does not work because he puts no effort into actually doing the job he was elected to perform. That makes him the biggest parasite in US history.

The Governors want to figure things out on an individual basis. Cuomo wants to open NY, when Cuomo wants to, not when Trump wants to. This was a state by state issue, it wasn't one size fits all. If Trump had taken complete control the Governors would have complained the way they did when Trump suggested opening the whole country.

I mean, you can't have it both ways. You want Trump to take control, but the Governors wanted their own control......Like Cuomo said: "We don't have a king, we have a president."

Strong national leadership would have stopped most of the major disagreements we've had during this crisis.

That doesn't mean that we'd have had a unified response but it certainly means that we would not have had 51 (states + Puerto Rico) different responses that were frequently at odds with each other.

Ordinarily I would agree with you, but this is New York and everyone knows how a line works, trust me on it. These people were willfully being selfish pigs because they had to be somewhere more important than me, which was probably just to go home and sit on their fucking couch and eat fucking potato chips and stuff their fat fucking faces.

Everyone is getting a little short-tempered because we're all getting tired of the confinement and adjusting to a changed world and some of the mental cases that come along with it - even though it isn't nearly as bad as other states - but we're all in the same boat, you fucking tools. Not you, of course, Cocksucker #4, and most especially, Cocksucker #5. He cut me off and called me a fucking bitch who thinks I own the gas station all while he's filling his gas tank after cutting me off KNOWING he cut me off. You can't make it up.

I hated everything about him, too. You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but fuck it, I'm doing it. I know I curse like a sailor, but believe it or not, I have a sense of propriety when I'm in public and my parents didn't raise me that way. He was the same age as me, and he even said I don't give a fuck that you're a woman, I forgot that one. That's when I said for about the tenth time I am not cursing at you, you're cursing at me. I should have said it ain't my fucking fault that you can't get laid or that your wife hates you, probably your mother, too.

One of many lingering side effects of my brain injury years ago is impulse control when I'm angry, but part of my primal brain had the good sense not to go there because people are crazy. I wasn't about to get killed because some ginzo balding how ya doin' gold chain wearing asshole has Mommy problems. And I'm Italian, too. There's nothing endearing about people like that, they're an embarrassment. Sometimes there are stereotypes for a reason and I'm probably not wrong about what his stupid wife looks like if he has one.

    I'm still seething.

I see, I agree, but I also think the Governors pushed back against Trump whenever had tried to push for a national response.

My best friends dad had an ad agency based in Philly and he got a nice account with Trump's casinos.

Trump ripped him off for half a stack...

Yeah, the “all in it together “ has a very short shelf life. Don’t let it it ruin your night, if he said those things to you it tells you all you need to know about him as a man. Youre still who you are, and he has to live with who he is... you did a good thing today and he probably went home to do the Friday night tweezer search . Since I got 2 rescue pups a few years ago, I’ve found that i much enjoy their company to people.

I have numerous times. All you need to do is compare Sweden with Denmark, Finland and Norway combined. Almost 4 times the deaths with 33% smaller population.

Not at all sure why that would matter when what I questioned was your claim that coronavirus was government created. That's ok though because I knew you had nothing even resembling proof of what you claimed.

Sweden doesn't have the same population density or a mass transit system like the NY/NJ area. Sweden also let schools, restaurants and gyms stay open and judging by pictures I saw people were not taking the governments recommendations of self isolation seriously.

I don't pay much attention to pictures, it's too easy to cherry pick them to fit a narrative. The more revealing stat about Sweden is their economy got hit as hard as the countries that locked down. In other words, the places were open, but the turnout was low. Plus they aren't doing great with their death tolls either.

Nice try. My brain is precisely why I don't take that shit and if I listened to the medical community - which failed me horribly - I would be dead now because of not in spite of. I have one hell of an ax to grind, and not just as it pertains to me directly. You're not as amusing as you think you are sometimes, Prince Charming. Transparent is another story.
