***Cesspool rues are still in effect. This is not the TT forum and if you have too many threads that end up in here, you will be subject to swift punishment just for wasting everyone's time.

Being that I just had my septic fixed, this seems a fitting thread.

    Cincy corner Joseph AND Braylon?

Just a thought on the "signing" of Nnamdi, as much as I'd love to have him, the money will be nuts. Unless we can get him at a reasonable price, I wouldn't mind bringing back Braylon an signing Jonathan Joseph from Cincy. He's a solid man-to-man corner.

Based solely on cap room alone I think this might be the smarter and more economical move. Anyone have issues bringing in Joseph in if it means we def keep Braylon?

Even if Joseph didn't already sign with Houston, I would still say no. If you have a chance at a player who is the best or 2nd best at his position you don't say no, especially if it can open up a whole new section of playbook for your coach to scheme with.

Not following the agency closely, are you? Joseph agreed to terms with Texans.

We've got Asomugha. Braylon is most likely gone. We'll be just fine without him, I think.

I didn't know he signed with Houston. A little surprising that he signed before NA, and even more so that it was a team that was supposed to be hot on NAs ass. My bad.

    :shit:

If it was still on the cards, I would have agreed with you - less money, much younger, and we could probably have kept Braylon as well.

It's maddening trying to keep up with the FA frenzy... I really am shocked that he signed before NA. You had to think he'd use NAs contract as a sounding board. Hopefully this takes the Texans out of the hunt. If NA wants to win, and not after every red cent, he'll be a Jet. We need at <i>least<\i> 1 reciever, another corner and a safety. Whether it's Eric Smith or somebody to back up Lowrey if Smith doesn't come back.

Are you ready to let Wilson start on the edge? I'm not. With Cro saying the highest bidder will get him, we need another CB because the depth just isn't there. I saw Ike Taylor is a FA, no NA, maybe he's our guy. If we don't retain E Smith, than D Lowrey will move from CB to safety. We have a lack of depth at all 3 positions.

IIRC The VaGiants wr Steve Smith is also a FA... No Braylon, maybe him. As long as it aint Moss!

Looks like Braylon loved NY sooo much...

Except for the whole $$$ part.

Be gone Braylong, you aren't 1/2 of Santonio's talent level to begin with. You never were a True Jet.
